Terms of service

Last updated [DATE]

These terms are an agreement between [ENTITY], [ADDRESS] ("we") and the organisation that uses Probata ("you"). By creating an account or an organisation you accept them on behalf of yourself and, where you set one up, your organisation.

The service

Probata helps an organisation set objectives and key results and record progress backed by evidence that someone else has checked. We may improve and change features; we will tell owners before removing anything they rely on.

Accounts

  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Owners can require two-step sign-in for everyone in their organisation.
  • Owners and admins decide who joins the organisation and what role each person has.
  • You are responsible for what people in your organisation do in Probata.

Your content

Everything your organisation adds stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service, as set out in the data processing agreement. An owner can export all of it, and delete the organisation, at any time.

Acceptable use

  • Don't upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that you have no right to share.
  • Don't try to reach another organisation's data, overload the service, or get around its security.
  • Probata records progress on goals. It is not built to rate people, and OKRs shouldn't decide anyone's pay or appraisal on their own.

Fees

Probata is free while billing is switched off. Before we start charging, owners will get at least 30 days' notice of the price, and can export and leave if they don't want to continue.

Availability and support

We aim to keep Probata available and back it up daily, but we don't promise it will never be interrupted. Contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting your organisation. We may suspend an organisation that seriously breaks these terms, after warning its owner where we can. Either way, owners can export their data first.

Liability

[LIABILITY TERMS: to be written with a lawyer, including the limit of liability and the exclusions that apply in [JURISDICTION].]

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and its courts settle any dispute.
